The Century's Most Popular Toy
While yo-yos can be traced back to over 500BC, the modern yo-yo has it's roots with a man named Pedro Flores in the mid 1920s. It's popularity soared when Donald Duncan took over the Flores Yo-Yo Company, and renamed it to Duncan Yo-Yos. Donald Duncan made the yo-yo into what it is today, one of the most popular toys of modern times. A&E declared that the yo-yo was the most popular toy of the century, and with it's recent resurgence, the supporting evidence is daunting.
This sections is dedicated to yo-yos, yo-yo players and yo-yo history.
